And that means, they need to be one of us. Two-thirds of the Supreme Court and 25% of the Senate went to schools that just .04% of us could get in to. Over 50% of our Representatives were multi-millionaires before they were elected, yet less than 2% of Americans are. I have lost Faith in most of our so-called experienced elected officials, and so have most voters, because they are out-of-touch with everyday Americans. They don’t live our lives, they don’t share our values and they don’t speak with our voice. I know what it’s like to struggle, to have medical bills and student loan debt. I understand the difficulties you face everyday, because I face them, too. I recognize the fear and constant worry over global events, national crises, and local issues that we all share. Here in Arizona, we have pressing concerns over our water security, and our public schools are under attack. Extremists threaten everything from our voting rights to women’s healthcare rights. The threat by outsiders that do not represent our best interests to buy and bully their way into office, any office, cannot be understated. We the People are being systematically ignored and overruled by the political Elites and professional politicians that do not represent us. It’s time to fight back. It’s time the People had a representative that works FOR them, that speaks with their voice.

I know I can make a difference, because I bring a different perspective to the job that needs to be done. My career has provided me with the unique opportunity to travel to every part of this great Country, meeting all Americans where they live. This means I get the whole-picture view, and I see first-hand the impact of the policies, laws and decisions that our Representatives have on everyday Americans. Every trip home to Arizona, I listened to local versions of the stories I heard across the Country. As I compared my home to other places, I carefully considered solutions I’d seen there, that could work here. I understand what needs to be done, because I have seen what has and has not worked.

I am running for Congress to fight to restore the Rights of ALL my fellow Americans. To combat extremism, to regain trust, to get to work bringing common sense solutions to the real problems facing the people in my District, my State, and my Country. I believe in America, and her People.

I’m not a traditional candidate, and I won’t be a traditional Representative, but I WILL be your voice. Let’s put the Representative back in Democracy.
